He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Lucas and Helen Gentry Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Freda Lucas (Turner); his son Tony Lucas; his grandsons, Spencer and Trent Lucas; his sister Janice Edington (Jimmy); his nieces, Tammy Tuder (Dale) and Julie Reasonover; his great-nieces, Madison Kay and Katie Grace Tuder; and his great-nephew Preston Reasonover.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Central Church of God.
