He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward and Mabel Lucille Lucas (Gill); his brother Jerry Lucas; his stepmother Mae Lucas; and his stepbrother Dewayne Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jearld Lucas; his daughters, Denise Miller (Dennis) and Angela Bell (Jim); his grandchildren, James Miller (Melissa), Sarah Copper (Stephen), Michael Bell, Emaleigh Bell, Mary Miller and Abigail Bell; his great grandchildren, Peter, Lucas Copper and Ren Miller; and his stepbrother Charles Smith (Delmy).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
