He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Hipsher Emge; his parents, Samuel Emge and Mollie Emge; his sisters, Lois Jean Neff and Dovie Patterson; and his pet Bonnie.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Emge (Pauline), Terry Emge (Mary Kay) and Susan Humphreys; his grandchildren, Beth Bullock (Wayne), Vince Emge (Sarah), Nicholas Emge (Jennifer) and Laura Fair (Zane); and his brother David Emge. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
