He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Berry; and his brother Rodney Berry, Jr. (Scott). He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Berry; his wife DaRhonda "Dee" Berry; his children, Scott Berry, Jr. (Clare), Kacy Smith (Michael), Lindsey Berry and Haley Stradtner (Desmond); his grandchildren, Austin Bennett, Scotty Berry, Nathan Berry, Oliver Berry, Brantly McCaleb, Charlee Jo McCaleb, Braylon Stradtner, Dawson Stradtner, Jameson Stradtner and Anniston Stradtner; and his brother Shelby Berry (Debbie).
