He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlon Fleming and Galdys Ann Butler Fleming; his brother Mark Fleming; and his stepfather Bill Beranek. He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Johnson (Eric) of Portland; his grandsons, Owen Johnson and Dylan Gulley; and his brother Glen Fleming.
