He was predeceased by: his grandson Reed Benenate; and his siblings, Joe, Wendall, Pam, Sherry and Lonnie.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Hrubes Weifenbach of Portland; his son Joe Weifenbach (Angela); his grandchildren, Tayler Weifenbach, Taytum Weifenbach, Kennedy Weifenbach and James Weifenbach; his great grandchild Liam Weifenbach; his siblings, Sandy, Carmen, Daniel, Randi, Roger and Terri; and also Dan Weifenbach (Nikki).
