“I have many wonderful memories of Bro. Patton during the years I lived in Portland (Jr. High, High School and College). He helped me grow as a Christian, I still remember numerous insights from his sermons. He asked me to bring a message on a Sunday morning in Aug., 1975, my first sermon. At First Baptist Church I often brought the devotional for for the Adult 1 and 2 assembly. This was my beginning in Christian ministry. Mrs. Patton, we will be praying for you, Amanda and extended family.”
