He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Hastings; his grandson Liam Kelly; his parent-in-law Leslie Huff; his siblings, Joyce Baird, Gwendolyn Potter and Harry Tanner; and also Evelyn Huff.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Hastings; his children, Tina Quinn, James Hastings (Melissa) and Nicole Johnson (Robert); his grandchildren, Kevin, Jessica, Cory, Seth, Hannah, James, Jr., Alyssa and Patrick; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Jaeden, Khloey and Korbyn; and his siblings, Mamie Hastings and Matt Hastings.
