He was predeceased by: his parents, Radie Shelby Parker and Hassie Claiborne Parker; his wife Ethel Hodges Parker; his son Joe David Parker; his great grandchild Colt Allen McCoy; his children-in-law, Bill Pruett and Sharon Parker; and his siblings, J. D. Parker, Helen Sauter (Karl) and Barbara Young.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Jenkins (Donald), James Parker (Kay), Shirley Shockley (James), Brenda Pruett, John Parker, Donna Harris (Jimmy), Jerry Parker (Lisa) and Jeff Parker (Jennifer); and his brother-in-law Keith Young. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren.
