He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Esther Marker (Lee) and Paul Marker; his former wife Deborah Marker; and his brother Stephen Bartron. He is survived by: his wife Doris C. Marker; his stepchildren, Ricky Archer (Candy) of Trion, GA and Vanessa Jacobs (Ron) of Portland, TN; and his siblings, Phillip R. Marker (Paulette), Daniel W. Marker (Susan) of Kettering, Elizabeth Bartron Pittenger of Weedville, PA and Carol Bartron Furtick of Gaston. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Portland General Baptist Church (107 W Market St, Portland, TN 37148). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
