She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Carr and Mary Carr; and her sisters, Doretha Carr and Mary Allen Lamont. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Groves; her daughter Mandy Denz; her grandchildren, Seth Dehnz, Ciara Dehnz and Josh Dehnz; and her sister Frances Adcock.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Portland (610 N Broadway, Portland, TN 37148). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Old Brush Cemetery (573 Butler Rd, Portland, TN 37148).
