It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarite Kitchens (Portland, Tennessee), who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Kitchens; and her sisters, Rebecca England and Evelyn Rippy. She is survived by: her children, Karan McDowell of Portland, Sylvia Briley of Portland and Darrell Dixon (Kathy) of Portland; and her grandchildren, Kara Carden (Jim), Athena Kittrell (Eric), Ronnie D. McDowell (Dana), Tyler McDowell, Matt Briley (Layiel), Darrell J. Dixon (Debbie) and Jeremiah Dixon.
