It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Barber of Portland, Tennessee, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Barber and Orbia Lee Roberts-Barber; his former wife Bertha Ray Gass-Barber; his wife Jean Perry-Barber; and his son Jimmy Loyd Barber.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Miller (Jim) of Bethpage, TN; his daughter-in-law Mary Linda Baurle-Barber of Panama City, FL; his stepson Reed Perry (Lycrecia) of Scottsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Kevin Barber of Homestead, FL, Laura Barber of San Francisco, CA, Sarah Barber of Panama City, FL, Megan Barber of Panama City, FL and Jane Ann Perry Vincent (Ryan) of Owensboro, KY. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
