She was predeceased by: her parents, B. Denning Denning and Stella Butt Denning; and her brother Billy Joe Denning. She is survived by: her significant other Don Shanklin; her sons, Donnie Shanklin (Cheryl) and Jeff Shanklin (Jo Ellen); her grandchildren, Devon Douglas (Erik), Steven Shanklin (Sarah), Casey Shanklin and Cory Shanklin (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Amelia Caroline Shanklin, MiaGrace Marie Shanklin and Mason Wayne Shanklin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home (715 S Broadway, Portland, TN 37148). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Cross or the charity of your choice in Linda Shanklin's memory.
