John Marlin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John Marlin (Portland, Tennessee). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Marlin and Leona Marlin; his significant other Anne Simonton; his children, Kelley (Brett Alexander), Bryan (Carrie), Karen Sortin (Nick) and James (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Zebediah, Maddox, Cash, Zuzu, McKane, Hank, Lucas, Phoenix and Sailor; his sisters, Meredith Thompson, Bonnie Ausbrooks and Mandy Marlin; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Ralph Simonton III and Dr. Susan Simonton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Never one to make a fuss, John wished to be cremated, and during COVID-19, he did not want anyone to put their health at risk to attend a service.
