He was predeceased by: his parents, Himon Johns and Agnes Holder Johns; and his sister Ella Mae Uhls. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gayle Johns; his children, Barry L. Johns (Sharla) of Portland, TN, Julie A. Wirgau of Scottsville, KY and Joshua D. Johns (Tracey) of Bethpage, TN.; his grandchildren, Nicole Givens, Josh Johns and Madison Johns; and his great grandchild Carson Hoskins.
