She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Searcy and Lula Searcy; her siblings, Maggie Moore, Maudie Flatt, Cot Harper, Irene Pennington, Laura Mai Walker, Jack Searcy, Clayton Searcy, Bob Searcy, Jim Searcy and Hayden Searcy; and her husband Melvin Ellis West.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas West (Mary Lynn) of Nashville, Hendersonville of Nashville, Ray West of Nashville and Shirley Panagopoulos Brentwood (Chris); her brother Harold Searcy of Portland; and her child Doug. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
