He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D. Brown and Aria Bell Lambert; his wife Gwendolyn Jean Brown; his sons, Michael J. Brown and Harold Berry Brown Jr.; and his stepdaughter Pattie Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Timothy Brown (Betty) of Westmoreland, Eric C. Brown of Portland and Emily K. Abbott (Steve) of Buford Ga; his sister Connie Conatser of Nashville; his stepchildren, Lisa Copeland (Fred) of California and Micky Haynes; and his close friend Virginia Mitchner. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
