She was predeceased by: her father Charles "Aubrey" Read; her grandparents, Grover and Mary Cavender; her uncle Jessie Clayton "J. C." Cavender; her aunt Freda Coleman; and her adoptive mother Carrie Louise Bennett.
She is survived by: her uncle Tom Coleman; her cousins, Chara Branam (William), Jada Trail (Johnny) and Bree Coleman; and her sisters, Patricia, Connie, Donna and Eva.
