She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Freeman and Hazel Hunter Freeman; her husband Jearl Groves; her son Larry Groves; and her siblings, James Freeman and Dorothy Perdue.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Richards (Micheal); her daughter-in-law Sherry Groves; her grandchildren, Tracy Bettis, Michael Eisenbraun (Beth), Ryan Groves (Mandy), Shawn Richards, Tia Owen and Lindsey Roberts (Andrew); her sisters, Maxine Searcy and Cora Mee; and her friend Charles Wayne Stephens. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
