It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Marvin Steinhart of Portland, Tennessee, born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. Steinhart and Bertha C. Knarr; his brother Ernest Steinhart, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey and Janice Steinhart.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Sharina Nolin (Shon) and Damon Steinhart (Theresa); his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor (Hudson), Dr. Andrew Nolin, Shea and Ayla Steinhart; his brothers, Carl, Robert (Jane) and John; and his sister-in-law Belle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to McKendree Memorial UMC Grace Meal and/or Men's Club.
