He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Adams and Hattie Katherine Adams; his wife Peggy Jean Adams; and his brother Billy Ray Adams. He is survived by: his children, Danny Adams (Anna) of Portland, David Adams (Amanda) of Goodlettsville, Tammy Elrod (Paul) of Sparta and Chris Adams (Sherry) of Portland; his grandchildren, Daniel Lewellen (Sydney), Nikki Roberts, Cindy Austin (David) and Denise Adams; and his siblings, Ann Wheeler of Portland and Glenn Adams. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
