He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Covrig and Susanna Covrig (Voaida); his wife Dorothy Chase; his siblings, Natalia Wickersham, Daniel, Peter Jr. and John; and his daughter-in-law NaLonna.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alexander Covrig and Mary Ann Comstock; his children, Ruth MacLafferty (Bob), Greg Covrig (Demetra), Bryant Covrig (Jan), Danny Covrig (Bonnie), Kim Anderson (Will), Tami Wilson (Jacob) and Chris Covrig; his grandchildren, Kayla Goia (Ovi), Kaitlyn Wallace (Grant), Emily, Meghan, Aaron, McKenzie, Austin, Audrey Burns (Ben), Abigail, Billy, Ethan, Samantha, Anastasia, Craig, Ryan, Alyssa and Wesley; and his great grandchildren, Elli and Samuel John Goia.
