He was predeceased by: his former wives, Wanda Marshall Ritchie and Connie Jackson Ritchie; his parents, Charlie Benton and Lorraine Jones Ritchie Linkous; and his siblings, Omar Ritchie and Dorothy Stone.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Hale (Charles) of Bristol Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kenneth "Kenny" Hale of Pahokee Florida, Rachel Hale of Bristol Tennessee and Austin Hale of Bristol Tennessee; his sister Phyllis Upperman; his grandchildren, Cody, Brittany, Jeffrey, Amanda, Dylan, Josh and Jessica; and also Michelle Steele (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
