He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Guthrie Hunter and Victoria Beatrice DeWeese Hunter; his wife Virginia Hunter; his sister Ruth Ann Coffer; his daughter Marlene Dean; and his grandson Jeff Hunter.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Hunter (Judy) of Gallatin and Timmy Hunter (Karen) of Portland. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; & one great great granddaughter.
