He is survived by: his children, Patricia Davenport of Old Hickory, Ricky Stringer (Peggy) of Portland and Ronnie Stringer of Portland; his grandchildren, Brian Davenport (Holly) of Mt. Juliet and Kim Davenport of Brentwood; his stepgrandchildren, Kerry Hinton, Paul Hinton and Diane Hinton; his great grandchildren, Arlo Davenport and Ella Davenport; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Stringer of Portland and Vetrus Mee of Gallatin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
