He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Barrett and Betty Jane (Harris); and his siblings, Lillard Barrett, Garland Barrett, Stephen Barrett, Lucille Robertson, Betty Scruggs and Lois Dean Summners.
He is survived by: his wife Lallie Faye Poole Barrett; his children, Kristy Barrett Gregory (Anthony), Ray Barrett, Stevie Barrett and Robbie Barrett Calvert (Bobby); his grandchildren, Jessie Calvert, Emily Barrett, Sierra Barrett Silvy (Cameron), Nathan Barrett, Erynn Barrett, Dylan Barrett and Janera Manning; his stepgrandchildren, A. J. Gregory, Jaden Gregory, Bentley Gregory and Bayleigh Gregory; his great grandchild Braelee Faye Silvy; his sister Mary Spivey (Eldon); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Poole (Deanie) and Candy Barrett (Carol Phillips). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
