It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Downs (Portland, Tennessee), who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Downs; and her son David Downs. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Stewart of Gallatin; and her grandchildren, Michael Stewart of Gallatin, Teresa Ragland (Randall) of Portland, David Downs, II (Gia) of Huntsville, Dinah Fitchner (Shawn) of Huntsville, Denise (Mark) of Huntsville and Campbell of Huntsville. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
