He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Emerson (Jeff); his siblings, Robert Bell Ellis, Joe Bailey Ellis (Jerri), Dimple Balthrop and Bonnie Balthrop; his grandchildren, Morgan Fernandez (Kevin) and Zac Emerson; and his great grandchild Emma Fernandez. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
