He was predeceased by: his father James Groves; and his brothers, Jerry Groves and Rusty Curtis. He is survived by: his mother Linda Montgomery Curtis; his wife Vanette Groves; his children, Cheyanne Groves, Cassie Groves, Makayla Curtis, Casey Groves and Shane Curtis; his siblings, Bubba Chandler (Theresa), Miranda McQuiston (Walter) and Kara Jones; his parent-in-law Van Maxwell (Glenola); and his brother-in-law Norman Maxwell (Erica). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
