She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hamilton and Rebecca Christine Hamilton (Williams); her husband Ernest Stroud; her daughters, Pamela Hooper and Patricia Buchanan; her brother Oscar Hamilton; and her grandsons, Christopher and Derrick Tilghman.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Stroud (Shelia) and Sheila Crouch (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Ryan Stroud (Kayla), James Crouch (Rebecca), Angela Crouch, Jeremy Crouch (Hannah) and Staci Jones. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
