He was predeceased by: his parents, James Heatherly and Frances Hollman Heatherly; his wife Barbara Norman Heatherly; his son Terry L. Heatherly; and his brothers, J. W. Heatherly and Raymond Heatherly.
He is survived by: his son Donnie; his daughter-in-law Kim Heatherly of Greenbrier; his daughter Denise; and his son-in-law Dan O'Hanrahan of Clarksville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
