He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Faye Hunter; and his parents, Noah Clay and Laura Ruth Hunter. He is survived by: his daughter Alicia Hunter; his grandson Billy Hunter-Angell; his daughters, Beverly Hunter, Sheila Evans (Mark) and Lisa Bowen (Frankie); and his siblings, Paul David Hunter, Donald Ray Hunter and Martha Faye Sanders. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
