He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Johnson Moreland (Becky); his siblings, Shirley Moreland McLemore and Ronald Moreland (Charlotte); and his children, Debra Moreland Cox, Ed Moreland (Sharon) and Jerry Moreland Jr. (Cindy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, several nieces, and nephews.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers please make donations to Paralyzed Disable Veterans of America.
