We bid farewell to Evelyn Gupton of Pleasant View, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2025 at the age of 80. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Milom and Ozena Louise Milom (Batts); her husband Darrell Edward Gupton; her children, Edward Shawn Gupton and Cynthia Deneise Gupton; and her brothers, Billy Milom, Jerry Milom and Jim Milom.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Travis (Candi), Jeff Travis (Sandi), Bridget Hartsook (Jim) and Kelly Hampton; and her grandchildren, Brooks Edgin, Leah Sutton, Phillip Hampton, Erica Travis, Shelby Thompson, Wesley Travis and Nolan Gupton. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mallory's Cemetery.
