He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Purdy and Betty June Hildreth; his half-brothers, Carroll Russell Purdy, Sammie Lyle Purdy and Lewis Glen Purdy; and his sister Bettie Purdy Luttrell.
He is survived by: his son Justin Hildreth of Nashville, Tennessee; his wife Christal McBay Hildreth of Dayton; his children, Joshua Hildreth of Joelton and Kasi Schroeder of Cookeville, Tennessee.; his sister-in-law Maxine Purdy of Los Angeles, California; his stepson Ryan Montgomery (Kristen) of Dayton, Tennessee; his grandson Michael Miller of Nashville, Tennessee; and his nephew Bradford Blaine of Dallas, Texas..
