He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Witt and Effie Scott Witt; his wife Patricia Witt; his grandson Jeffrey Crutchfield; and his brother Jimmy Witt.
He is survived by: his children, Charles M. Witt, Jr. (Angie), Kerri Witt (Jeremiah McClain), Kristina Witt (Joseph Walker) and Matthew Witt, Sr. (Deanna); his sister Mary Caraway (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Kyle Witt (Raven), Kyla Rumbaugh, Jimmy Pinson (Haley), Kimberly Pinson, Alexis Wooten, Konnor McClain, Kollin McClain, Alain McClain, Matthew Witt, Jr., Dacinda Witt, Katelynn Lee and Ayden Witt. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
