He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Wilkinson and Sara Wilkinson; his son William G. Wilkinson, Jr.; and his brother Wendell Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilkinson; his children, Franklin Wilkinson (Michelle), Andy Wilkinson (Teri) and Gwen McCollum; his grandchildren, Jessica Gordy (Shawn), Drew Wilkinson (Liz), Drew McCollum, Andrea McCollum and Amelia Grace Wilkinson; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Gordy, Madison Gordy and Mace Gordy; and his close friend Bill Stinnett.
