She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lee Stites, Sr.; and her brother Mack Cook. She is survived by: her sons, Danny Smiley (Marsha) of Pleasant View, Lester D. Stites (Ellen) of Springfield and Donald L. Stites, Jr. (Leeanne) of Springfield; her sister Sonja K. Maxwell of Pembroke, Florida; and her grandchildren, Serena Collingsworth (Brian), Freddie Biggs (Andrea), Brian Biggs (Denise), Daniel Smiley (Brittany), Rachael Ellen Wilson (Steven), Rebecca Clinard (Chad), Jesse Dean Stites, Jonathan Stites (Allie), Jeffery Stites (Brittney) and Jordan Stites. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Pleasant View First Baptist Church.
