He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Estle Lee Flatt and Beatrice Irene Bledsoe Flatt; his wife Hilda; his daughter Tina Flatt Williams (Kyle); his grandsons, Garrett Flatt (Angie Warrick Flatt) of Lafayette and Dakota Flatt (Kaitlyn); his great grandchild Emelia Grace Flatt; and his sister Mary Etta "Mert" Flatt Grimsley.

The Flatt family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
