He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Paul and Wilma Louise Spivey Watson; and his brother Kenneth Wayne Watson (Peggy Hendry). He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Carter (Chuck), Robin Cherry-Lafayette and Kelly Gulley (Chris); his grandchildren, Joseph Knight, Joshua Knight, Owen Watson, Haven Gulley and Baylor Gulley; his great grandchild Greyson Knight; and his siblings, Jerry Watson-Hartsville (Judy) and Judy Dias.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home (337 E McMurry Blvd, Hartsville, TN 37074). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Green Grove Cemetery.
