She was predeceased by: her brothers, Terry Polston, Othell Junior Polston and Gene Wilson Polston. She is survived by: her husband Wallace; her daughter Tina Flatt Williams (Kyle); her grandson Dakota Flatt (Kaitlyn Tiller Flatt) of Lafayette; her great grandchild Emelia Grace Flatt; and her sisters, Rosemary Polston Russell (Rick) of Lafayette, Jan Harper of Gallatin and Brenda Lee Polston of Gallatin.
The Flatt family has requested memorials to great-granddaughter, the Emmy Flatt Education Fund.
