He is survived by: his wife Norma Yott Whittenberg of Pleasant Hill; his children, Dianna S. Wells of Memphis and Gary W. Whittenberg of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Michelle Whittenberg of California, Ada Whittenberg of Crab Orchard, Whitney Danielle McDonald, Alexis McDonald of Chattanooga and Bret McDonald of California; his great grandchildren, Ziah Whittenberg and Luna McDonald of California; and his brother Bob Whittenberg of Alabama.
