With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Thomas Disseler Sr. of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Disseler and Flora Disseler (Bentrop). He is survived by: his wife Eloise Ruth Disseler (Grunewald) of Pleasant Hill, Tenn.; his children, Tom Disseler (Shirley) of Salisbury, NC, Amy Disseler of Tampa, Fla. and Ellen Disseler of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Steven Disseler (Alison) of Bedford, Mass., Ryan Disseler (Leigh) of Salisbury, NC and Sarah Faichney of Aspen, Colo.; his great grandchild Grayson Disseler of Salisbury, NC; his stepgreat-granddaughter Rachel Faichney of Tampa, Fla.; and his sister-in-law Julie Disseler (Wis) of Milwaukee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Community Church, Eden Theological Seminary, or Cumberland County Playhouse.
