The memory of Marilyn Maples of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marilyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marilyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father J. Wayne. She is survived by: her sister Karyn Robinson; her children, Nancy Rice (John) and Franklin Cobos II; her grandchildren, Emilie and Patrick Rice; and her niece Melanie Sutton (Dan).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (2335 West Ave, Crossville, TN 38557).
She would be pleased if, in lieu of flowers, charitable donations were made to either Amazing Facts Adventist Ministry (amazingfacts.org), or Adventist Health International (ahiglobal.org) and designated for Baraka Hospital, Chad, Africa.
