He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Junior Simpson; and his sister Barbara Wikowsky. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Simpson; his daughter Melissa Long (Jason) of Piney Flats; his grandchildren, Brianna Baker (Patrick) of Piney Flats, Jamie Long of Piney Flats and Mackenzie Long of Piney Flats; his mother Marie Simpson of Piney Flats; and his siblings, Joyce Campbell (Gene) of Bluff City, Paul Simpson (Judy) of Piney Flats and James Simpson of Piney Flats. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
