He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac R. Maples and Mary Mitchell Davis. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Maples; his daughter Lacy Maples; his siblings, Sabra McCoy, Sheriee Davis-Wyatt and William Davis (Beth); and his grandchildren, Issac and Marcus Maples. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund.
