He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli A. Torbett Sr. and Mary Etta Fitzgerld Torbett; his wife Peggy Torbett; his son Keith Lawrence Torbett; his grandson John F Landers II; and his siblings, Trula Torbett, Bertha King, Inez White, Vena Sanders, Monte Hale, Clifford Torbett, Herbert Torbett, Harry Torbett, Farrell Torbett, Lawrence Torbett and Gene Torbett.
He is survived by: his daughter Kevyn Elizabeth Torbett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethel Presbyterian Church (592 New Bethel Rd, Piney Flats, TN 37686). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the New Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery (592 New Bethel Rd, Piney Flats, TN 37686).
