He was predeceased by: his siblings, Conley, Velma Fortner and Iva Lee Grindstaff. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Estep; and his children, Portia Sams of Gray, Michael Estep of Monroe, NC, Vickie Emery of Unicoi, Teresa Reed of Knoxville, Debbie Jessen of Lebanon, TN, Gayle McNutt of Blountville, David Jones of Carlton and Theresa Marcus of Piney Flats.
