It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Eston Bedwell of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bedwell and Emma Novella Worthington Bedwell; his siblings, Jimmy, Samuel "Bo" Bedwell, Wilma Smith, Carolyn Walling and Mary Hancock; and his son-in-law Duane Pilgrim.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Oakes Swafford; his children, Nona Pilgrim, Donna Campbell (Charles "Dude"), Kayla Davis (Garrett) and Martin Deweese (Carla); his grandchildren, Will Angel (Amber), Matthew Wheeler (Tiffany), Michayla Hankins (Bradley), Paden Pilgrim (Tiffany), Andrea Cordell (Joe), Harlee Deweese and Jason Myers; his sisters, Betty Brewer, Susie Davidson and Dorothy Angel (Dwain); and his mother-in-law Ruth Essex. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
